Refund Policy for The Dermot Blount Memorial Race 2025
We strive to ensure that all participants have a safe and enjoyable experience at The Dermot Blount Memorial Race 2025. However, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and have outlined our refund policy below:
1. Standard Refund Requests:
- Participants may request a full refund up to 48 hours before the scheduled start of the event. After this period, no refunds will be issued.
- All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to
info@metalmanpaddlesports.ie.
2. Event Cancellation:
- In the event that the race is cancelled due to weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances, all participants will receive a 50% refund of their entry fees. The balance will be used to cover GPS Tracker costs as these are non-refundable.
- Refunds will be processed automatically within 7-10 business days of the cancellation announcement. There is no need to submit a refund request in this case.
3. Event Postponement:
- If the event is postponed, all registrations will be automatically transferred to the new date.
- Participants who are unable to attend the rescheduled date may request a full refund up to 48 hours before the new event date. The standard refund request process applies.
4. Refund Processing:
- Refunds will be processed back to the original method of payment within 7-10 business days of the approved request.
